Cloud ALM User Authorization: Example with Real User Monitoring

Real User Monitoring in SAP Cloud ALM allows administrators and users to track and manage system usage efficiently. In this guide, we show how to navigate to Real User Monitoring and ensure that the right authorizations are in place.

After logging in, you will arrive at the Cloud ALM dashboard.

From here, you can access Real User Monitoring to check the status of users and their activities. Follow these steps:

 

Step 1: Access Real User Monitoring

  • From the main menu, select Operations or Monitoring (depending on your system version).

  • Click on Real User Monitoring or End User Monitoring.

Note: If the Real User Monitoring tile is not visible, you likely lack the required authorization. Please contact your administrator to gain access.

 

Step 2: View Users

  • Click on User by Status to display all users in Cloud ALM.

  • Click on your entry to open user-specific details.

 

Step 3: Assign Roles

  • In the right-hand panel, add your roles for Real User Monitoring

  • Once your roles are added, the relevant tiles and monitoring features will become visible.
