Legion Go will keep going to 2029

 [[{“value”:”Last week speculation started circulating that Lenovo would not be
making any new drivers for the first-generation Legion Go handheld.
But reports of the Legion Go’s demise have been greatly exaggerated.
Over on the new Expedition Handheld podcast, Ryan Patrick Murray
got it straight from the horse’s mouth. Lenovo says that the original
Legion Go will be supported with “necessary driver and bios updates”
through October of 2029.” That’s six years after the original launch,
and Lenovo says it’s working with AMD, which provides the processor
and integrated GPU.

How long should a piece of hardware be supported after purchase?
That depends on a lot of factors, and six years for a very expensive
handheld might still not be enough for some. But to be fair, there’s
nothing that says updates won’t go even further. If you’re into PC
