[[{“value”:”Marin’s new Alpine Trail E was unreleased during the production of this shootout, so we were stoked that they enabled us to put it to the test as a budget-minded enduro eMTB offering. This big-hitting enduro eBike’s $6,299 price tag did little to hold back the capability on-trail, with sensible spec choices throughout that allowed this Bosch CX Gen 5-equipped eBike to punch above its weight.
Could the Marin Alpine Trail E1 be the best budget eMTB on the market in 2026? We were excited to hit the trails of Santa Fe, New Mexico, to find out.
