You’ll see how the new Merge feature in Product Handover helps production engineers consolidate multiple engineering items into a single target manufacturing item while preserving traceability to the original components. The video also shows how Product Handover to SAP S/4HANA Cloud Public Edition Master Recipe helps production engineers derive a master recipe from a source formulation recipe and connect formulation data with production-relevant attributes.
Annette also introduces new Product Structure APIs that help system integrators create, update, and manage product structures more efficiently. For formulation, new process parameters and cross-dimensional units of measure help recipe developers define production conditions and work with a wider range of units, including kilograms, liters, bottles, bags, and pieces.
