Every NPC in Fields Of Mistria loves to receive gifts, but they can be pretty picky about which ones come their way. In general, gifts fall into six categories, and your friendship will improve (or stagnate) depending on how well you’re attuned to your friends’ preferences. Getting gifts right can also lead to romance, so keep our guide handy when you’re exploring Fields Of Mistria’s many romance and marriage options. This updated gift guide has all you need to know about gifting, including what gifts to get the new 1.0 vendor NPCs and who to give the newly introduced items to.

Gifting basics
Gifts fall into one of six categories: Loved, Liked, Neutral, Disliked, Hated, and Banned. Gifts are worth more on birthdays, and each of these types (aside from Banned) will earn a specific amount of points. Giving on a birthday earns you far more points, so keep an eye on your calendar.

Each character’s personal gift categorization is different, so read on for a full breakdown of everyone’s gift preferences in Fields Of Mistria. Some gifts are universally liked, disliked, or loved, and some cannot be given to children or animals.
Remember you can only give one gift per day, so choose wisely! Speaking to an NPC once a day will also reward you with seven Friendship Points. Giving an NPC a gift they hate won’t reduce your friendship points though, so sometimes it is worth giving them out just to see their (usually very funny) reactions.
Elsie will give you a little bit of gossip each day, telling you which character likes which gift. If you give Loved (or Hated) items, you might get a unique bit of dialogue.

These are usually found at events and during festivals and can be purchased and gifted once at each. Rules on Banned gifts still apply (i.e. no caffeine for children or animals).

Gifting basics
Gifts fall into one of six categories: Loved, Liked, Neutral, Disliked, Hated, and Banned. Gifts are worth more on birthdays, and each of these types (aside from Banned) will earn a specific amount of points. Giving on a birthday earns you far more points, so keep an eye on your calendar.

Each character’s personal gift categorization is different, so read on for a full breakdown of everyone’s gift preferences in Fields Of Mistria. Some gifts are universally liked, disliked, or loved, and some cannot be given to children or animals.
Remember you can only give one gift per day, so choose wisely! Speaking to an NPC once a day will also reward you with seven Friendship Points. Giving an NPC a gift they hate won’t reduce your friendship points though, so sometimes it is worth giving them out just to see their (usually very funny) reactions.
Elsie will give you a little bit of gossip each day, telling you which character likes which gift. If you give Loved (or Hated) items, you might get a unique bit of dialogue.
Elsie will tell you one Loved or Liked gift per day.
