Have you problems with dropping your chain on a Gen 6 Trek Slash? It appears that many bikes shipped from the factory with incorrect spacing between the ISCG tabs and the bashguard/chainguide device. There’s also a strong chance the lower idler/jockey wheel isn’t spaced correctly and these two factors could be contributing to the issues some have reported on.

During our Trek Slash Review period of 7 months, we’ve had the chain drop 3 times, and it seems like the position adjustments combined with a new longer-toothed idler wheel, which  @trekbikes  is shipping to Trek dealers free of charge, could be the remedy for the Slash, pun intended…
