Bonnie Tu, often called the “Godmother of Cycling,” struggled to find a suitable bike and performance gear for the Tour of Taiwan in 2007. As then-CFO of Giant Bicycles, Bonnie took it upon herself to launch Liv a year later – a women’s cycling brand founded on providing women with bikes and gear that are tested and designed to support women’s performance. Fifteen years later, Liv isn’t out of ideas yet and has released their latest long travel bike. Tested and raced by professional enduro athletes like Rae Morrison and Isabella Naughton, the Intrigue LT Advanced Pro 0 is designed for women who need a bike to meet them at their elevated level.I received my test bike just in the nick of time. I was able to put a couple rides in before the Sturdy Dirty Enduro race in North Bend, Washington in early July and laid down the last miles on the bike at the Eastoberfest Enduro race in Spokane, Washington. This bike has seen gnarly roots, bike park chunder, granite rock slabs, and the occasional table top. After roughly 3.5 months of testing and 2 enduro races in the Pacific Northwest, I’ve compiled my experience on the Liv Intrigue LT Advanced Pro 0 below.
