#loamwolfI’ve always thought mountain bikers were some of the coolest and most welcoming people around, however, it wasn’t until I rode an eBike that I began to see what others had said about the elitism, attitude and cool-guy vibes that can intimidate new riders.
Apparently localism isn’t just for surfers anymore, or maybe I just always assumed everyone was as nice and welcoming as I hoped they were based on my interactions. Either way, it bummed me out and I wanted to share my thoughts after a couple drives home from the trailhead that made me feel really crappy about the MTB community.
