The Vidlak Bandit’s Treasure Map is one of the many treasure maps you can find in Kingdom Come Deliverance 2.
You usually get this by looting bandits during the “The Lackey” quest, though sometimes you find it randomly on other bandits. This map leads you to a specific spot near the Vidlak River, but the map itself is outdated so you won’t find any treasure there!
In this short guide, we’ll tell you the real location of the treasure for the Vidlak Bandit’s Treasure Map.
Vidlak Bandit’s Treasure Map Solution | Kingdom Come Deliverance 2
The Vidlak Bandit’s Treasure Map is a bit of a tricky one. As we mentioned previously, the treasure map is outdated. You can see the map above, pointing at a tree where the Vidlak River splits.
Now, for the sake of completion, the screenshot above shows the location to which the treasure map points.
However, the actual location of the chest is further south than what the treasure map shows. If you go to the exact location shown on the map, you’ll find that the tree was felled and there’s no treasure chest to be found. So, you want to go to the little green patch on the river, north of Vidlak Pond. We’ve marked it for you in the image above.
Get to the marked spot and you should notice a batch of reeds on the water, close to some thin trees. Check in the middle of the trees to spot the washed-up treasure chest. Just walk up to it to open it up! You’ll get the following loot:
300 Groschen
Golden Crucifix x1 – Extremely valuable, you can sell it for around 1435 Groschen.
Silver Cup x1
Tin Plate x2
