Fox has just dropped the new 34 SL, a fork that bridges the gap between traditional cross-country (XC) and downcountry riding. Replacing the old 34 Step-Cast, the Fox 34 SL brings more travel and increased stiffness, with almost no penalty in weight. I got my hands on one and put it to the test on everything from Tucson’s chunky desert trails to the hero dirt and mud of Bellingham. Now it’s time to share my thoughts.
