@marin_bikes updated their Alpine Trail Alloy in 2024, adding adjustability and moving to a different suspension platform to allow them to increase the rear travel in order to unlock more capability. On the face of it, the new Alpine Trail 1 had all the ingredients to be an excellent enduro mountain bike, but did they nail the recipe?
