Forbidden is offering TWO Druid e-bike models, one aimed at peppy trail riding and the other for long steep sustained descents. Both bikes feature DJI’s Avinox Drive Unit putting out a whopping continuous 105Nm and 120Nm at its peak in boost mode. With the new DJI update you can opt for all 1000W of peak power without having to use the boost mode.
Both bikes are built on the same frame platform and use different shock strokes to achieve the rear travel figure. The Druid lite has 140mm out back while the Core has 150mm. The Druid Lite comes with a 600Wh battery while the longer travel Druid Core comes with a 800Wh option, both bikes can utilise either battery depending on what you as the rider want the bike to behave like.
We are very excited to get one of these in for a long term test to really get a feel for Forbidden‘s geo and design ethos, with that said our first laps on these bikes left us very impressed!
