Set it in motion shortly after the release of the Defy Advanced E+ Elite, Giant ambassador Marcelo Gutiérrez had the idea to chase his PR up one of the longest climbs in the world, Alto de Letras; however, Marcelo wouldn’t be using the e-bike to attempt beating his time in the way you’d think. Instead, he enlisted friend Alejandro “The Pony” Ruiz to act as an e-pacer while Marcelo was on his TCR.
