SAP Fiori elements feature map: what is available in each SAPUI5 version

If you work with SAP Fiori elements, you have probably run into the problem where it is hard to see in which UI5 version a specific feature was introduced. Marian Zeis created a feature map that shows when a feature first appears. It’s updated automatically whenever new versions are released. Explore the feature map.

Key User Adaptation: powerful new features and seamless transition to Developer Extensibility

With key user adaptation, you can change the user interface of SAP Fiori apps directly in the Fiori launchpad. The goal of key user extensibility is to empower business users to be able to adapt their working environment to suit their needs, without having to rely on system administrators. Learn more.

SAP Fiori tools 2603 update: RAP Project Accelerator, walkthrough, adaptation improvements, and more

SAP Fiori tools 2603 delivers improvements across development transparency, onboarding, AI-supported development, and extensibility. Highlights include Project Accelerator support for RAP, a change in navigation from properties to its source, a new walkthrough in Visual Studio Code, and the ability to import existing key user changes into an SAPUI5 Adaptation Project. See details.

Introducing UI5 plugins for Claude: AI-powered development for SAPUI5 and OpenUI5

Declarative UI Integration Cards – A consistent framework with flexible content

A new blog post shows key qualities of declarative Integration Cards: They offer a range of display options and minimalist interactions, including List Card, Table Card, Timeline, Calendar, Analytical, and Object Card with input elements. Read more.

More power, new name: The UI Flexibility Service explained

SAPUI5 flexibility allows developers, key users, and end users to adapt standard apps with simple drag-and-drop tools. Since it’s not only for key users, we renamed this capability to UI flexibility service instead of the older, potentially confusing name UI5 flexibility for key users. Learn more.

Navigating from an SAP Fiori elements application to another application

While the SAPUI5 documentation explains how to navigate to other applications in detail, the code snippets sometimes make it difficult to visualize how each navigation pattern behaves in the UI.
