In this guide, we’ll show you how to unlock all the new loadout gear for Battlefield 6 for Season 3: Blastpoint for BF6 and Redsec.

All of the new loadout items are free to unlock in Season 3: Blastpoint, and these are available to earn through battle pass tiers and challenges.

Blastpoint adds the following new gear:

  • PP-19 submachine gun
  • Handheld Jammer gadget
  • #00 Buckshot attachment
  • Cryogenic Barrel attachment

Season 3: Blastpoint adds the PP-19 submachine gun. First released in Battlefield 2, the PP-19 is a solid submachine gun, featuring an optional high-capacity helical magazine.

The PP-19 submachine gun is unlocked in the new Explosive Charge bonus path added to the Season 3 battle pass. The Explosive Charge bonus path is leveled up concurrently alongside the Season 3 battle pass, and the PP-19 is the 11th and final reward for completing this path.

The Blastpoint bonus path is live from now until June 30, but if you miss this unlock window, you can find the PP-19 in the Battlefield 6’s Challenges tab. The gun will have a new unlock challenge for you to complete.

The Handheld Jammer is a recon gadget that disrupts nearby smart/electronic devices for a short period. Once activated, it can either be thrown or placed in an area to disrupt a specific area, or you can carry it around to turn yourself into a mobile jammer.

This new gadget is unlocked on tier five of the new Explosive Charge bonus path added to the Season 3 battle pass.

How to unlock the #00 Buckshot

The #00 Buckshot attachment contains slightly larger pellets and fewer pellets per shot than standard buckshot ammunition. If you would rather not shoot a single slug, but still want more range and less spread, then you’ll want to unlock this new ammo attachment.

#00 Buckshot is unlocked through a new seasonal hardware challenge. To unlock this attachment, you must get 40 kills and assists, with shotgun kills counting as double.

How to unlock the Cryogenic Barrel

The Cryogenic Barrel attachment is designed to be tempered for better accuracy over sustained fire without being heavier than the factory standard version, meaning your aim-down-sight time is faster than using a standard barrel.

The Cryogenic Barrel is unlocked through a new seasonal hardware challenge. To unlock this hardware challenge, you must first complete the #00 Buckshot challenge mentioned above. Then, you’ll need to deal 400 headshot damage and get 20 kills and assists while aiming down your sights to complete this attachment challenge.

There is still one final phase of Season 3, which arrives on June 30. Battlefield Studios has already outlined some of the content and features arriving in Battlefield 6 for Season 4 and beyond. These include more maps, naval warfare, and some key features requested by the community.
