Physical media is more popular than it has been in years, and there’s good reason for that. Streamers are dropping movies and TV series left and right, so sometimes the only way to make sure you have access to the movies and series you want, is just to buy physical copies yourself. Luckily, there are hundreds of movies on sale during Prime Day, with some discounted by up to 60%. To help you find the titles you might be interested in, we went ahead and sorted through the whole sale to pick out the best deals on the best movies and TV series for you.
For starters, there several boxed sets collecting entire film series in one convenient package–all in 4K. That includes the Middle-Earth 6-Film Collection for $85 (down from $110), the Back to the Future 40th Anniversary Trilogy boxed set for $24.49 (down from $30). If you’re after superhero movies, Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight Trilogy is marked down to $28 (down from $38).
The selection of standalone movies is just as impressive. A personal favorite of mine, The Truman Show is down to $15 (from $20). Two of the best movies of 2025 are on sale too: Sinners is just $14 (down from $26) and Weapons is down to $13 (was $28). If instead you’re looking for a movie with a bit more levity, Galaxy Quest is included in the sale and is $13 (down from $20)
Movies aren’t the only 4K Blu-rays getting the Prime Day treatment; there are several TV series box sets on sale, too. These include recent HBO hits like Chernobyl for $13 (was $20) and the first season of It: Welcome to Derry for $30 (was $40). And would it be a real movie and TV sale if there weren’t at least a couple Star Trek collections to choose from? The Deep Space Nine: Complete Series is $70 (was $98), and The Next Generation: Complete Series is down to $97 (was $135).
