Do you want to offer your solution to SAP customers as a cloud product?
SAP BTP ABAP Environment enables partners to build cloud products and side-by-side extensions with ABAP Cloud on SAP BTP and bring them to market via SAP Store. These products run on SAP BTP and can integrate with SAP S/4HANA, other SAP solutions and non-SAP solutions.
To support this journey, SAP BTP ABAP Environment Product Management offers a free engagement for partners who want to build and commercialize products on SAP BTP ABAP Environment.
Who is this for?
This engagement is intended for SAP partners who:
- want to offer a product to multiple customers
- are planning a side-by-side solution on SAP BTP instead of an on-stack SAP S/4HANA extension
- are considering SAP BTP ABAP Environment as their product platform
- want to publish their solution via SAP Store
To commercialize and publish a partner product via SAP Store, an SAP PartnerEdge Build agreement is required. If you are not yet part of SAP PartnerEdge Build, we can discuss the required next steps in the initial conversation.
Supported delivery options
We currently support two delivery options for partner products on SAP BTP ABAP Environment.
Multitenant SaaS: The partner offers and operates the solution as a cloud service. Customers subscribe to the service and receive their own tenant in the partner’s provider system.
Add-On Product: The partner offers the solution as software. Customers run their own SAP BTP ABAP Environment instance and consume the partner product in their own landscape, with the option to extend it according to their needs.
Both options enable partners to productize cloud solutions depending on their target customers, operating model and business model. Partners can also offer both delivery options in parallel, as most of the underlying steps are identical.

- answering technical questions during implementation
- sharing reference materials and tutorials
- preparing your solution for SAP Store publication
