SAP BTP ABAP Environment – Release 2608

IAM Roles
- Migration of Business Roles to IAM Roles, use IAM roles to manage a larger number of roles and more complex role definitions within the Maintain Business Roles app. The IAM roles replace business roles and carry an improved performance and scalability through simplified design and modern frameworks (details)
Security
- Display Security Audit Log Statistics (F9305), the app displays statistical information about the volume of Security Audit Log (SAL) data generated in your SAP system
- Display Static System Audit (F5461A), this app is the successor of the Display Static System Audit (F5461) app (details)
APIs
- APIs for communication management change history, it is now possible to read the communication management change history via remote APIs
- Decommissioning of remote APIs, you can now announce the decommissioning of a deprecated remote API (C2 contract) by setting a planned decommissioning date (details)
Landscape Portal
- Using the Manage SAP System Upgrade app, you can select when the downtime for a system upgrade starts during your upgrade weekend within the specified time window (details)
- Deprecation of Register Systems for Pre-Upgrade app, it has been replaced by the Manage SAP System Upgrade app
- The new app Manage Continuous Testing provides automatic testing capabilities and reduces manual testing efforts by automating the testing of objects (details)
