I benchmarked JEV against three established approaches across four tasks, and a 22M parameter local model scored 93% on Banking77 against JEV’s 80%, running in 8 milliseconds on a CPU for free. I also show the one thing JEV does that none of the older approaches can touch, which is dynamic instruction following.
