Value from the Perspective of a Senior SAP Business Analyst using SAP Cloud AML for project management
As a Senior SAP Business Analyst, I have had the opportunity to access the tool, and I recently discovered that its value goes beyond having a module for implementation project management. SAP Cloud ALM also allows users to download suggested phases, steps, tasks, and deliverables for SAP tool implementation projects.
This functionality significantly helps save time when defining tasks and deliverables for IT project managers. Although some tasks may not be relevant to every project, they serve as guidance, especially for people who are new to administrative roles or project management.
The tool offers suggested steps for each task and, in many cases, includes additional materials such as Excel templates, roadmap matrices, PowerPoint presentations, and other resources that support meetings with stakeholders.
In simple terms, SAP Cloud ALM provides a complete project lifecycle structure with predefined deliverables. The project manager can evaluate which items are relevant, which add value, and which should be adjusted according to the needs of the project and stakeholders.
