[[{“value”:”Ask anyone who’s shopped around for an e-MTB over the past two years, and it’d be extremely unlikely that they haven’t considered an Amflow.
Arriving towards the tail end of 2024, the Chinese tech brand stormed onto the scene with its high powered DJI/Avinox M1 motor, sleek carbon frame and surprisingly low weight. Along with sharp pricing that undercut many of the big name brands, it didn’t take long for Amflow to become a legit player in a highly competitive market.
We tested the original PL, which impressed with its lively handling and the motor’s earth-spinning torque. It wasn’t perfect though, especially when it came to geometry and frame stiffness. Combining a trunnion-mounted shock with an extender also seemed like an odd choice from a durability perspective.
Amflow has clearly taken that feedback on board with its second generation, high performance e-MTB; the PX. Bringing a number of key improvements over its predecessor, we were eager to see how the PX stacked up on the trail.
