Aniimo’s first major expansion is live with the Season 1 “Departure with the Wind: Part 2” update. This adds a brand-new map called Whisperwake Isles, a massive tropical archipelago location with four regions. Depending on how much Aniimo you’ve played, you might not be able to access the island right away. In this guide, we’ll explain exactly how to unlock Whisperwake Isles in Aniimo.
Whisperwake Isles explained

Aniimo’s Whisperwake Isles is an entirely new map to explore. This adds four new regions: Crescent Bay, Rosy Mirelands, Wildwater Gorge, and Cloudreach Falls. These areas offer new main story quests, puzzles, and plenty of exclusive new Aniimo to catch.
If you’re a new player, you won’t be able to unlock this map right away, as there are a few prerequisites you must meet first.
How to unlock Whisperwake Isles

Access to Whisperwake Isles requires you to meet specific level and story requirements. Level-wise, you’ll need to reach player level 55 and receive the Grade I Trailblazer promotion from Dr. Lewis.
For the story requirements, you’ll need to first complete the game’s existing “Everlasting Echoback Song” Journey questline. This will unlock the season’s new story quest called “A Tale of Tide and Song.” If you’ve completed all of the launch missions in Aniimo, then you should automatically get a call from Dr. Lewis to continue the story.
Completing A Tale of Tide and Song will unlock the questline called “A Song from the Sea.” You’ll need to complete this new quest in order to unlock the first region in Whisperwake Isles.
This new Aniimo adventure begins in Crescent Bay, and continuing through the Whisperwake Isles missions will eventually lead you to the other three map regions.
How to return to Whisperwake Isles
There’s a lot to explore within this new island map, but there’s a good chance you’ll want to return to the original map or visit your Aniimo Homeland. The in-game map doesn’t do a great job of showing you how to get back to Whisperwake Isles, as it only shows the original map of Idyll. You need to pull up your in-game map and scroll down on the Idyll map until the Whisperwake Isles section comes into view. It’s located southeast of Idyll. This will allow you to return to any fast travel point you’ve unlocked on the new map.
