The Sight VLT Bosch A | Norco’s third Sight model is an invitation to e-MTB

[[{“value”:”

Norco are at it again with yet another new e-MTB. The Canadian brand has added to its already extensive lineup with what they are calling an invitation to e-MTB. The new Sight VLT Bosch A range is billed as an entry point into the often very expensive e-MTB world. The new Sight features some clever tweaks to help keep the price down without making too many sacrifices to component selection and design.

The new Sight VLT Bosch A is an interesting take on a budget e-MTB. At this price point, it will be hard to beat.

The new Sight VLT Bosch A complements the brand’s lineup; Norco’s Fluid VLT slots into the lightweight category, with the Sight VLT TQ covering the mid-power spot, while the Sight VLT CX and Range VLT CX occupy the full-power segment. This new Sight’s role is to act as a more generalised entry to e-MTBs, while the other four models fill more specific roles within the lineup.

An overview of the 2026 Norco Sight VLT Bosch A

The Sight VLT Bosch A takes a simplified approach with its design; it features what the brand is calling VPS, or Virtual Pivot Suspension, also used on the Fluid VLT. This is Norco’s take on a Horst-link-based virtual pivot suspension design. In this system, the rear axle and brake are mounted to the seat stay and rotate around a virtual pivot point defined by the chain stay and upper link.

The frame is only available in aluminium and provides 150mm of suspension travel, and is paired with a 160mm fork across the range. It is only available in a mullet set-up, with a 29in wheel up front and a 27.5in wheel ready to get rowdy out back. Just like most modern Norco’s, the chainstays are size-specific, and the effective seat tube angle gets steeper as you move up each frame size. The suspension packages from RockShox and DVO can be further refined with the help of Norco’s Ride Aligned set-up guide.

The Sight VLT Bosch A sports an alloy frame, but Norco has opted to use 6066 aluminium rather than the commonly seen 6061 aluminium. This is a slightly higher-grade alloy that Norco says is stronger, more durable, and lighter. This new frame also features internal tube-guided cable routing, making it much easier to run new brake or shift cables.

Bosch Performance Line PX System

The Bosch Performance Line PX system is the same across all three models; it features 90Nm of torque, 700W max power and up to 400% support. The Sight VLT Bosch A will come with a 600Wh battery that can be extended with the 250Wh optional range extender.

The PX System is a full-powered motor with its power numbers only just below that of the top-tier CX Performance Line System from Bosch.

For comparison, the CX motor provides 100Nm of torque compared to 90Nm from the PX motor, while maximum power is 750W from the CX and 700W from the PX system. Both motors give riders 400% support when pedalling. The PX system can be customised via Bosch’s Flow eBike app and also provides a suite of additional features such as theft protection, navigation and Bluetooth updates.

Geometry and Sizing

The new Sight VLT Bosch A bikes will be available in five sizes using Norco’s number-based system.

The geometry of this new Sight varies slightly from that of the TQ and CX models. Key details like the head tube angle remain the same at 65°, and the effective seat angle increases from 77 ° to 78 ° as you move up through the sizes.

The numbers that do change are the reach, which sits at 472.5mm on the high pivot models and is now 470mm in the same size 3 on the Sight VLT Bosch A. Similarly, the stack has also changed slightly, going from 636mm on the other two bikes to 634mm on the new model.

Lifetime Warranty and Ride Aligned Set Up

Norco are obviously serious about e-MTBs with such a comprehensive lineup of models in the brand’s range. To add further peace of mind for customers, all of the Canadian outfits bikes from 2014 onwards come with what Norco calls the “No Other Way Limited Lifetime Warranty.”

Norco has also continued with its Ride Aligned setup guide that provides ultra-detailed suspension, fit and tyre pressure recommendations based on riders’ weight and height.

The Ride Aligned setup app not only gives you suspension setting recommendations but also offers bike fit and tyre pressure suggestions.

Flow’s Take on the 2026 Norco Sight VLT Bosch A

It has been a BUSY few weeks for e-MTBs between the Avinox-alanche, a Bosch update and more, and Norco’s Sight VLT Bosch A is a refreshing change from what has been coming down the pipe from brands of all stripes. No, it doesn’t light the world on fire in terms of spec or motor performance; heck, it doesn’t even have Bosch’s most powerful drive unit.

The price of e-MTBs is creeping ever higher, and the arms race for more motor power is getting a little out of hand. With this bike, Norco appears to have been trying to make something wholly sensible that, for most folks out there, will be a recipe for a great day out in the woods.

It’s not the dripping in the newest, latest, greatest, but it distils what Norco has done well over the years at a compelling price.

We were hoping to have one of these in for review soon. Stay tuned folks!

Norco Sight VLT Bosch A
It’s an interesting time for e-MTBs, and it’s nice to see Norco coming to market with a bike targeted at newer riders, but it should still rip. We’re hoping to have one of these roll into Flow HQ soon to see how it rides.
